ఈ సంవత్సరం స్టార్టింగ్ లోనే 'ఎఫ్ 2 'తో మంచి విజయం లభించింది. అలాగే గొప్ప చారిత్రాత్మక చిత్రం ఆయన "సైరా"లో విప్లవమాత్మకంగా ఉండే లక్ష్మీ క్యారెక్టర్ నటిగా నాకు మంచి పేరు, ప్రశంసలు తీసుకువచ్చింది. ఇప్పుడు 'యాక్షన్' మూవీకి కూడా గ్యారెంటీగా నాకు మంచి పేరు వస్తుందనే నమ్మకంతో ఉన్నాను.

ఈ సినిమాలో విశాల్ గారు, నేను కమాండోస్గా కనిపిస్తాము. మాములుగా మీరు హాలీవుడ్ యాక్షన్ మూవీస్ చూస్తే అందులో హీరోయిన్స్ 'షీరో'గా ఉంటారు. అంటే గ్లామరస్గా కనిపిస్తూనే చాలా స్ట్రాంగ్గా ఉంటారు. ఈ సినిమాలో నా క్యారెక్టర్ కూడా అలానే ఉంటుంది. అలాగే మా డైరెక్టర్ సుందర్ సర్ థాట్ ఏంటంటే ఈ సినిమా చూసిన తర్వాత విమెన్ కోసం కూడా యాక్షన్ సీన్స్ రాయాలి అని. దానికి తగ్గట్లుగానే నా క్యారెక్టర్ని చాలా స్ట్రాంగ్గా డిజైన్ చేశారు.
షూటింగ్ చేస్తున్నపుడు సెట్లో ఎలా ఉండేది?
మాములుగా ప్రతి సినిమా షూటింగ్కి వెళ్ళినప్పుడు ఒక డైలాగ్ పేపర్ ఉంటుంది. ఈ రోజు ఈ సీన్, ఈ డైలాగ్ అని చెప్తారు. ఈ సినిమాకి వచ్చేటప్పటికి సెట్లోకి రాగానే ఈరోజు ఈ ఫైట్ సీక్వెన్స్, ఇక్కడినుండి దూకాలి, రన్నింగ్ చేస్తూ చేజ్ చేయాలి అని అనే వారు. డైలాగ్స్ చాలా తక్కువ ఉండేవి. కొత్తగా అనిపించేది. కానీ 'యాక్షన్' అని టైటిల్ పెట్టినప్పుడు ఆ మాత్రం యాక్షన్ చేయాలి కదా(నవ్వుతూ).
మీ క్యారెక్టర్ గురించి చెప్పగానే ఎలా ఫీల్ అయ్యారు?
సుందర్ సి. సర్ నాకు ఫోన్ చేసి ఈ క్యారెక్టర్ నువ్వే చెయ్యాలి అన్నారు. నేను ఎప్పటినుండో ఆయన డైరెక్షన్లో వర్క్ చేయాలి అనుకుంటున్నాను. నాకు స్క్రిప్ట్ చాలా బాగా నచ్చింది. అందులోనూ రెగ్యులర్గా కాకుండా నాకు కొత్తగా ఉంది. ఈ క్యారెక్టర్ నాకు ఫ్యూచర్లో కూడా యాక్షన్ సీక్వెన్స్లు చేయగలను అనే కాన్ఫిడెన్స్ని ఇచ్చింది. ఈ జోనర్లో నేను మరిన్ని సినిమాలు చేయాలనుకుంటున్నా.
ట్రైలర్ చూస్తుంటే విజువల్స్ చాలా గ్రాండియర్గా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి కదా! ఏఏ ప్రాంతాల్లో షూటింగ్ చేశారు?
ఈ సినిమా కోసం అజర్ భైజాన్, టర్కీ, రిషికేష్ ఇలా చాలా ప్రదేశాలు ట్రావెల్ చేశాం. అక్కడ యాక్షన్ సీన్లు తీయడం అంటే కొంచెం కష్టంతో కూడుకున్న పని. సెక్యూరిటీ, పర్మిషన్స్ ఇలా చాలా అంశాలు ఉంటాయి. అయితే అందరు పూర్తిగా సహకరించడంతో మా పని తొందరగా అయిపొయింది.
యాక్షన్ సీక్వెన్సులు చేయడం కష్టంగా అనిపించిందా?
ఈ సినిమాలో 'యాక్షన్' ఎపిసోడ్స్ అన్నీ రియాలిటీకి దగ్గరగా ఉండేలా చూసుకున్నాం. అలాగే కాస్ట్యూమ్స్ కూడా చాలా హెవీగా ఉంటాయి. వాటితో యాక్షన్ సీన్లు చేయడం కొంచెం కష్టమే. అయినా మా టీమ్ అందరం చాలా కష్టపడి సినిమా చేశాం. దానికి తగ్గ ప్రతిఫలం వస్తుందనే అనుకుంటున్నాము.
హిప్హాప్ తమిళ మ్యూజిక్ గురించి?
హిప్హాప్తమిళ పేరు అందరికీ తెలుసు. ఈ సినిమాకు కూడా మంచి మ్యూజిక్ ఇచ్చారు. అయితే హిప్హాప్తమిళ మ్యూజిక్తో పాటు అద్భుతమైన ఆర్.ఆర్ ఇస్తారని ఈ సినిమాతో ప్రూవ్ అవుతుంది. ఎందుకంటే ఇలాంటి సినిమాలకు ఆర్.ఆర్ అనేది కీలకం. కొన్ని సీన్లలో ఆయన ఇచ్చిన బ్యాక్గ్రౌండ్ మ్యూజిక్ మైండ్ బ్లోయింగ్గా ఉంది. మా యూనిట్లో ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ ఆయన్ను అప్రిషియేట్ చేశారు. రేపు సినిమా విడుదలయ్యాక ఆడియన్స్ కూడా తప్పకుండా మెచ్చుకుంటారు.
మిగతా ఆర్టిస్టుల గురించి?
ఈ సినిమాలో ఐశ్వర్య లక్ష్మి, ఆకాంక్ష పూరి, ఛాయా సింగ్ ఇలా చాలా మంచి ఆర్టిస్టులు ఉన్నారు. ప్రతి క్యారెక్టర్కి మంచి ఇంపార్టెన్స్ ఉంటుంది. వారు కూడా వారి వారి పాత్రలకు పూర్తి న్యాయం చేశారు.
డైరెక్టర్ సుందర్.సి మేకింగ్ గురించి?
సుందర్. సి గారు చాలా ఎక్స్పీరియన్స్డ్ డైరెక్టర్. దాదాపు అన్ని జోనర్లో సినిమాలు తీసి ప్రూవ్ చేసుకున్నారు. అయితే 'యాక్షన్' సినిమా ఆయన డ్రీమ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్. స్క్రీన్ ప్లే కూడా రేసీగా ఉంటుంది. లొకేషన్స్ గ్రాండియర్గా ఉంటాయి. ఆయనతో వర్క్ చేయడం ఒక లెర్నింగ్ ఎక్స్పీరియన్స్. ఆయన ప్లానింగ్ చాలా పక్కాగా ఉంటుంది. అలాగే ఆయన టీమ్ కూడా చాలా సపోర్ట్ చేశారు.
