రణరంగం’ గురించి చెప్పండి ?

‘రణరంగం’ స్క్రీన్ ప్లే వెరీ ఇంట్రస్టింగ్‌గా ఉంటుంది. ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ అండ్ ప్రెజెంట్ ఇలా ప్లే చాల ఆసక్తికరంగా సాగుతుంది. ముఖ్యంగా శర్వానంద్ క్యారెక్టర్.. సినిమాలో తను ఒక ‘గ్యాంగ్ స్టర్’, ‘రణరంగం’ కథ ఆ ‘గ్యాంగ్ స్టర్’ కథే. సినిమాలో భిన్నమైన భావోద్వేగాలు వెరీ ఎమోషనల్‌గా అనిపిస్తూ హైలెట్‌గా నిలుస్తాయి.

సినిమాలో మీ పాత్ర గురించి ?

ఈ సినిమాలో నా రోల్ వెరీ నేచ్యురల్‌గా ఉంటుంది. పైగా నా రోల్ నాకు చాలా బాగా నచ్చింది. ఖచ్చితంగా నా కెరీర్లోనే ఈ సినిమాలో నేను చేసిన పాత్ర నాకు ఎప్పటికీ గుర్తు ఉంటుంది. అలాగే లవ్ స్టోరీ కూడా అంతే బాగా ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది.

సినిమాలో మీరు హాఫ్ శారీలో మాత్రమే కనిపిస్తున్నారు?

నా క్యారెక్టర్ ప్రకారమే నా గెటప్ ఉందండి. 1990 కాలంలో సంఘటనల సమాహారం బట్టే ‘రణరంగం’ సినిమా నడుస్తోంది. నా పాత్ర కూడా 1990 కాలంలోనే వస్తోంది. అప్పటి సమాజానికి తగ్గట్లుగానే నా పాత్ర తాలూకు గెటప్ ఉంటుంది. ఇక హాఫ్ శారీ విషయంలో మా డాడి కూడా నాకు కొన్ని సలహాలు ఇచ్చారు. అవి కూడా చాలా బాగా ఉపయోగపడ్డాయి.

డైరెక్టర్ సుధీర్ వర్మ గురించి చెప్పండి?

ఆయన దగ్గర చాల నేర్చుకున్నా. స్క్రిప్ట్ మీద ఆయనకు ఫుల్ కమాండ్ ఉంటుంది. ఫస్ట్ ఆయన స్క్రిప్ట్ చెప్పినప్పుడే నాకు కథ చాల బాగా నచ్చింది. నా రోల్ కూడా సినిమాలో వెరీ ఇంట్రస్టింగ్ ఉంటుంది. ఆయనతో కలిసి పని చేసినందుకు చాలా హ్యాపీగా ఉంది.

శర్వానంద్‌తో కలిసి నటించడం ఎలా అనిపించింది?

సూపర్. ఈ సినిమా మొత్తం శర్వానంద్ గారి పాత్ర చుట్టే తిరుగుతుంది. సినిమాలో ఆయన క్యారెక్టర్ రెండు షేడ్స్‌లో ఉంటుంది. రెండు షేడ్స్‌ను ఆయన బాగా పలికించారు. ముఖ్యంగా ‘గ్యాంగ్ స్టర్’ రోల్‌లో ఆయన ‘గ్యాంగ్ స్టర్’లానే అనిపిస్తాడు. శర్వానంద్ గారితో కలిసి నటించడం ఎంతో ఎంజాయ్ చేశాను.

మీ మదర్ పెద్ద నటి.. మీ కెరీర్ పట్ల ఆమె ఎలా ఫీల్ అవుతున్నారు ?

చాల చాలా హ్యాపీగా ఫీల్ అవుతుంది. ముఖ్యంగా నేను తెలుగు సినిమాలు చేయడం ఆమెకు చాలా ఇష్టం. మా మదర్‌కి తెలుగు ఇండస్ట్రీ అంటే ఎక్కువ ఇంట్రస్ట్.

మీ తదుపరి సినిమాల గురించి ?

తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమ నుంచి ఆఫర్స్ వస్తున్నాయి. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం నేను ఎక్కువగా మలయాళం అండ్ తమిళ్ సినిమాలే చేస్తున్నాను. తెలుగు ఇప్పుడిప్పుడే నేర్చుకుంటున్నానుగా. ఖచ్చితంగా తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో కూడా నటిస్తాను. ప్రస్తుతానికైతే ఓ సినిమా చర్చల్లో ఉంది అని చెప్పింది.
