కొత్త రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి 24 లక్షల కోట్లు అవసరమవుతాయని అంచనా. దాదాపు 15 లక్షల మంది నివసించేందుకు వీలుగా 30 నుంచి 40 వేల హెక్టార్ల భూమి అవసరం అవుతుంది. అయితే, పలు దేశాల రాజధానులను కొత్తగా నిర్మించారు. అలాంటి రాజధానులు ఏవో ఓసారి తెలుసుకుందాం.

ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యతో ఉక్కిరిబిక్కిరి అవుతోన్న జకర్తా నగరం నుంచి బోర్నియో ద్వీపానికి రాజధానిని తరలించే ప్రణాళికతో ఇండోనేషియా ముందుకు వస్తోంది. అయితే, రాజధాని ప్రాంతానికి సంబంధించిన ఖచ్చితమైన స్థానాన్ని ఇంకా ఆ దేశం వెల్లడించలేదు. కానీ, అధ్యక్షుడు జోకో విడోడో రాజధాని మార్పుకు సంబంధించిన పథకాన్నిఆగస్టు 16వ తేదీన పార్లమెంట్‌లో ప్రారంభించారు.

2016లో నిర్వహించిన ఒక సర్వే ప్రకారం ప్రపంచంలోనే అత్యంత ట్రాఫిక్ ఉన్న ప్రాంతంగా జకర్తా మొదటి స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. మంత్రులు సమావేశాలకు సకాలంలో చేరడానికి కూడా పోలీసుల కాన్వాయ్ సాయం తీసుకోవాల్సి వస్తోంది. ఈ ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్య కారణంగా ఇండోనేసియా ఆర్థికరంగంపై ఏడాదికి 1.47 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయల భారం పడుతోందని ప్రణాళికా శాఖ మంత్రి అన్నారు.

దేశ అధ్యక్షుడు నుర్ సుల్తాన్ నజర్ బయోవ్ 1997లో రాజధానిని ప్రధాన నగరం అల్మటీ నుంచి తరలించాలని నిర్ణయించారు. దేశానికి ఉత్తరం వైపు 1200 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉన్న ఒక పట్టణాన్ని రాజధానిగా ఎంపిక చేశారు. తర్వాత ఆ పట్టణానికి ఉన్న అక్వ్మోలా పేరును ఆస్థానాగా మార్చారు.

చమురు మార్కెట్ వల్లే ఆ దేశం ఇలా రాజధానిని భారీగా నిర్మించగలిగింది. రాజధాని మార్పు తర్వాత ఆ దేశ వృద్ధి రేటు 2018లో 4.8 శాతానికి పెరిగింది. మార్చిలో అధ్యక్షుడు నూర్ సుల్తాన్ పదవి నుంచి తప్పుకున్నాక ఆయన గౌరవార్థం రాజధానికి ఆయన పేరును ఖరారు చేశారు. ఇప్పుడు కజక్‌స్థాన్ రాజధాని నూర్ సుల్తాన్ నగరం ప్రపంచంలోనే రెండో శీతల ప్రాంతంగా (మొదటిది మంగోలియాలోని ఉలాన్ బాటర్) నిలిచింది.

మయన్మార్

నైజీరియా

లాగోస్‌తో పోల్చితే అబుజా రాజకీయంగా, జాతుల పరంగా చాలా తటస్థంగా ఉన్న ప్రాంతం. లాగోస్‌లో ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్య చాలా తీవ్రంగా ఉంటుంది. అదే అబుజాలో విశాలమైన రోడ్లు ఉండటంతో ఈ సమస్య లేదు. అయితే, ఇప్పటికీ జాతీయ సాంస్కృతిక సంస్థలు, సుప్రీంకోర్టు, జాతీయ అసెంబ్లీ, అధ్యక్ష భవనం, అనేక ఫెడరల్ ఏజెన్సీలు లాగోస్‌లోనే ఉన్నాయి.

పోర్చుగల్
