మీరు నాగదోష పరిహారం కోసం చూస్తున్నారా? అయితే మీరు తప్పకుండా సందర్శించాల్సిన ఆలయం కర్ణాటకలోని మంగళూరు దగ్గరలోని సుల్లియా అనే ఊర్లోని కుక్కే సుబ్రమణ్యస్వామి ఆలయం. ఇక్కడ నాగదేవత ఎప్పుడూ కొలువైవుంటుందని ప్రగాఢ విశ్వాసం.
ఇక్కడ ప్రత్యేకంగా సర్పహత్యాదోషం, ఆశ్లేష బలి పూజ, నాగప్రతిష్టపూజలు చాలా నిష్టగా నిర్వహిస్తారు. కుమారపర్వత శ్రేణులమధ్య ధారా నది ఒడ్డున ఉన్న గ్రామంలో ఉన్న ఆ ఆలయం ప్రకృతి సౌందర్యాలకు పెట్టింది పేరు.
మునుపు ఈ గ్రామాన్ని కుక్కె పట్నం అని పిలిచేవారు. క్రమంగా ఇది కుక్కె సుబ్రహ్మణ్య'గా ప్రాచుర్యంలోకి వచ్చింది. ఇక్కడ గుడిలో నాగదోష పరిహారములు చేసుకుంటే వారికి జీవితంలో ఎటువంటి బాధలూ లేకుండా మంచి సంతానం కలిగి సుఖసంతోషాలతో జీవిస్తారని పురాణ గాధల్లో ఉంది.
ఇక్కడ సుబ్రహ్మణ్య స్వామి స్వయంభువుగా వెలిశాడు. ఈ ఆలయానికి స్థల పురాణం ఉంది. పూర్వం తారకుడు, సూర్పర్మాసురా అనే అసురులను సుబ్రహ్మణ్యేశ్వర స్వామి తన శక్తి ఆయుధంతో సంహరించాడు.
తన ఆయుధాన్ని ఇక్కడి ధారానదిలో శుభ్రపరచుకున్నాడని పురాణాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. ఆ తరువాత కుమారధార పర్వతశ్రేణులలో గణపతి మున్నగు దేవతలతో కుమారస్వామి విశ్రాంతి తీసుకున్న సమయంలో ఇంద్రుడు తన కుమార్తెను వివాహం చేసుకొమ్మని కోరగా ఆయన అంగీకరిస్తాడు.
ఆ తరువాత వాసుకి కోరికపై ఈ ప్రదేశంలో తనతో పాటు వెలియడానికి అంగీకరించటం వల్ల ఈ క్షేత్రం వెలసింది. సుబ్రహ్మణ్య స్వామి ముఖద్వారం తూర్పుముఖమై ఉన్నా, భక్తులు మాత్రం పృష్టభాగం నుండి ముందుకు వెళ్లి స్వామి దర్శనం చేసుకోవలసి ఉంటుంది. గర్భగుడికి, ఈ మధ్య నిర్మించబడ్డ వసారాకు మధ్యన వెండితాపడాలతో అలంకరింపబడ్డ స్తంభం ఉంటుంది.
వాసుకి విషపు బుసలనుండి రక్షింపబడడానికి ఈ స్తంభాన్ని నిర్మించారు అని ప్రతీతి.ఈ స్తంభాన్ని దాటిన తరువాత లోపలి మంటపం చేరుకోగానే గర్భగుడిలో ఉన్న మూలవిరాట్టు సాక్షాత్కరిస్తాడు. పైభాగంలో సుబ్రహ్మణ్య స్వామి, మధ్య భాగంలో వాసుకి, క్రిందిభాగంలో ఆదిశేషుడు ఉంటారు. సర్ప దోష శాంతికి చేసే ప్రక్రియలకు ఈ పవిత్ర దేవాలయం ప్రసిద్ది.
